Effective October 4, 2026

We collect very little, so this page is short. Here is what we collect and what we do not.

Who we are

MiniGolfHouse is a group of vacation homes in Munster, Whiting and Cedar Lake, Indiana, operated by Hosts4Homes LLC. When this page says "we", that is who we mean.

The TV channel

Our "MiniGolfHouse Welcome" channel is the screen that opens on the TV in our homes. It shows a welcome, the Wi-Fi details, a note about Roku Guest Mode, and a QR code to our house guide and optional sign-up page.

The channel collects nothing. It has no accounts and no sign-in, shows no ads, runs no analytics, and reads nothing from the guest. It never asks for a Roku password or any other password.

Roku, the streaming apps on the TV, and Roku Guest Mode have their own privacy policies. We do not control them and we do not receive anything from them.

The optional email sign-up

If a guest scans the QR code and chooses to sign up, we collect one thing: an email address. Signing up is optional, and nothing is pre-checked. The guest ticks the opt-in box first.

We use the address to send a guidebook, house manuals, a link to our merch store, and a discount for a future stay. We do not use it for anything else.

We never sell the address and we never share it, except with the email-sending service that delivers our messages for us.

Unsubscribe and deletion

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. Use it and we stop emailing that address.

To ask us to delete your email address, please send a note through our contact form with the address you signed up with, and we will remove it. Thank you.

This website

This website does not run analytics and does not set cookies of its own. Some pieces come from other companies and load from their servers: our fonts come from Fontshare and Google Fonts, and the booking calendar on our house pages comes from Hospitable. Those companies, like our web host, can see standard connection details such as an IP address when a page loads, and the booking calendar may set its own cookies. Their policies apply to what they collect.

Children

Our sign-up page is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this page, we will update the date at the top. Any change that affects the optional sign-up will be reflected here before it takes effect.
